In this project, we used the Return on Sustainability Investment (ROSI) method to guide business decisions regarding end-of-life tires. The venture focused on recovering textile fibers from tires and using them to create new materials. We highlighted several benefits from this sustainability initiative, including avoiding waste disposal costs, generating new revenue from the sale of recovered materials, and reducing carbon emissions. While our study used data from the European market, the framework provides a solid foundation for similar cases in North America.

Main Deliverable: An Excel-based economic assessment of the recovery project.
