We are seeking for a young digital marketer to support our team with website content development and SEO analysis. You will play a critical role in SEO implementation on our website as well as assisting in the development of our content strategy. You will also contribute content to our website and help other team members with optimizing and editing their work to improve the quality and maximize marketing impact. Furthermore, the focus of our business is on the growing field of sustainability and circular economy. By engaging in this field, you can build competency for future related jobs. The position also offers an opportunity for team work to enhance our efforts towards gaining exposure and recognition.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead digital content marketing in our firm
- Perform search engine optimization (SEO) on the existing contents of our website
- Conduct regular audits on our website to ensure it is out of bugs and flaws
- Support the development of video marketing content
- Perform keyword research to guide the development of new articles and whitepapers
- Write and edit articles for our website and other digital content platforms
Requirements:
- Degree in marketing or writing
- Proficiency in SEO ranking factors and best practices
- Working knowledge of WordPress
- Desire to engage with sustainability topics
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Familiarity with video creation is not required but would be an asset
- Between the age of 15-30 (per the requirement of a government funding program for youth employment)
